Our world view decides how we create our reality. When I first heard the concept that we create our own reality, I felt a lot of resistance, I mean sometimes stuff just happens that I have no control over.

Then I read a two quotes that illuminated this argument for me. Wayne Dwyer said “We are the sum total of our choices today.

Victor Frankle who based his book “Man’s search for meaning” on the behaviour of survivors from the concentration camp said: “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of human freedoms – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”

When our world view is optimistic, we tend to have an optimistic attitude, and even when “stuff” happens our reactions are based on the knowledge that “life is kind” and “everything always works out for the best.”

Our world view is often a belief and beliefs are created when we decide, or simply think a thought over and over, and world views can be changed.

A homeless person without work or prospects can be given a home, clothes, a car and a job, but unless their world view is changed they will be back on the street within a short period of time.

In the same way a millionaire may become bankrupt but soon recreate that wealth. The way they create their reality is dependent on their world view.

Our beliefs decide our thoughts, our thoughts decide our actions and our actions decide our environment.

We have the freedom of choice and this has been a revelation for me. I can choose to see loves hand in everything and life’s kindness everywhere. Abundance of everything goodly and Godly surrounds us, all we have to do is choose it and allow it in.
